LiveHire, QuantumWork to Create Direct-Sourcing Platform for Contractors – HCM Technology Report

Contingent sourcing platform LiveHire has partnered with QuantumWork Advisory, a consultant firm that offers workforce-related services for procurement solutions. Under the agreement, LiveHire will combine its talent platform with QWA’s Worktech advisory products to provide “holistic solutions to address talent acquisition and the direct sourcing of contractors,” the companies said.
The integration will provide companies with guidance throughout the process of transforming hiring strategies to direct sourcing, said LiveHire CEO Christy Forest.
“A single direct-sourcing platform eliminates disjointed communication between parties,” Forest said. “It also reduces confusion and inefficiencies created by overlapping responsibilities, and aligns all interactions to one service team.”
QWA Managing Partner Mark Condon said that advisory services will include assistance building business cases, designing delivery models and ensuring programs are successfully adopted.
As companies face an increasingly competitive labor market, the growing contingent workforce is an important segment to incorporate into overall workforce strategy, LiveHire argues.
In a 2021 Staffing Industry Analysts report, 60% of survey respondents planned to explore direct sourcing for contingent talent in the next two years, more than any other workforce strategy.
In April, LiveHire’s Direct Sourcing platform became available on the SAP Store, the online marketplace for SAP and partner offerings. The LiveHire platform integrates with the SAP Fieldglass Contingent Management solution to help companies attract and engage top external talent. The integration equips talent curation teams with new capabilities in candidate sourcing, branded talent attraction, native two-way text messaging and AI-powered talent pooling to help quickly source and hire contingent workers.
In addition, LiveHire and nextSource launched a partnership to go beyond traditional direct sourcing talent pools to offer client-specific communities of engaged, pre-qualified talent. The collaboration also will help companies build stronger employer brands through a positive candidate experience, the companies said.
